Louisiana Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser stops by to talk about #CMAFest24

CMA Fest is currently taking place here in Music City, but it’s not just Nashville artists that are in the spotlight. That’s why the Louisiana Office of Tourism is in town and sponsoring the event as part of the Louisiana Year of Music campaign.

Louisiana Lieutenant Governor Billy Nungesser took time Friday to stop by our Nashville studio to talk with RFD-TV’s own Tammi Arender, a longtime friend, about his state’s integral support of CMA party.

In their chat, Tammi asks Lt. Governor Nungesser about his work promoting the state’s agriculture, food, and music industries – including some of country music’s hottest artists like Ms. Lanie Wilson! They also discussed some of Louisiana’s iconic agritourism destinations.

Community gardens are believed to increase an area’s intake of fruits and vegetables, provide educational opportunities, and even lead to community beautification.
