Starbucks and Grubhub launch delivery partnership


SEATTLE and CHICAGO, June 6, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Today, Starbucks® and Grubhub have announced a partnership to bring Grubhub delivery to Starbucks customers in the US. Starbucks is the most searched for merchant not yet available on Grubhub’s Marketplace, and through this partnership, both brands will offer customers the ultimate convenience of having their Starbucks orders delivered straight to their door. Starting in June, Starbucks Delivery with Grubhub will be rolled out to select markets in Pennsylvania, Colorado and Illinois, with national availability expected in all 50 U.S. states by August 2024.

More convenience for customers
Starbucks Delivery will be accessible through the Grubhub mobile app, available on iOS and Android devices, in addition to Starbucks and Grubhub are working together to ensure delivery is as fast as possible so customers can enjoy their Starbucks drinks and food quickly. Customers can track their orders through Grubhub from preparation to delivery.

To ensure quality and support delivery, Starbucks has developed multiple packaging solutions, including two-cup to-go trays and enhanced shopping bags, which are used for delivery orders and allow delivery people to easily transport multiple beverages at once.

Customers can order most of Starbucks’ menu, including seasonal drinks and food, through Grubhub. Additionally, customers can customize their orders the same way they would at Starbucks in the Grubhub app, including the ability to choose the number of espresso shots, flavor, type of milk and espresso roasters.

Delivering customer experience
Grubhub+, Grubhub’s $9.99 monthly membership program, offers customers who order from Starbucks on Grubhub $0 delivery fees on eligible orders, reduced service fees and exclusive offers. Standard delivery and service charges apply to all other customers.
