EASTLAKE, Ohio (AP) — Travis Kelce’s power extends beyond the football field or dating one of the world’s most famous women.

The talented tight end from Kansas City, who also happens to be the boyfriend of pop superstar Taylor Swift, showed off his hitting prowess Saturday by winning a home run game during a charity softball event hosted by Browns tight end David Njoku.

Kelce, who grew up in Cleveland, arrived at Classic Park, home of the minor league Lake County Captains, just as the event was getting underway. As he walked onto the field, Kelce shook hands with some fans before warmly greeting Browns defenseman Myles Garrett and quarterback Deshaun Watson.

Once in the batter’s box, Kelce, who played high school baseball, put in an impressive performance. After connecting with his final swing and sending another ball over the fence to clinch the win, Kelce turned his bat in celebration and took a victory lap around the bases.

He received a trophy to show to Swift, who is giving concerts in Scotland this weekend.

Kelce, a three-time Super Bowl champion, has grown close in recent years with Njoku, who has visited his Tight End University in the offseason.

“That’s my man, man,” Njoku said. “He is honestly one of the purest people I have met in my life. It always means good. Just a great guy.”

Kelce has always supported Cleveland’s baseball team, and last year he threw an ill-fated ceremonial first pitch that he speared like a football.

Kelce has stayed busy all offseason. He recently participated in the Chiefs’ organized team activities and visited the White House when the Super Bowl champions were hosted by President Joe Biden.
