LED ZEPPELIN - Never-before-seen photos from the July 1973 Madison Square Garden Show online

Never-before-seen photos of Led Zeppelin backstage at New York’s Madison Square Garden on July 27, 1973 have been posted to the official LedZeppelin.com forum. Go to this location to view the thread.

The performances at Madison Square Garden were filmed and recorded for the band’s feature film, The Song Remains The Same, and its soundtrack album, as well as the 2003 official DVD. A remastered edition of the film and soundtrack was released in November 2007 .

Led Zeppelin Boots recently uploaded new source audio of Led Zeppelin performing live in Newcastle, UK on December 1, 1972.

A message accompanying the clip reads: “I’m proud to unveil a brand new source for the band’s second show in Newcastle on their UK tour in the winter of 1972/1973! This new source is quite muffled, hissing and distorted with several interruptions and the second half of the show is missing. But hey, a new source is a new source, right? And the old source for this show is ROUGH (one of the band’s worst tapes ever), so any improvement is welcome , anyway? how small. The show itself (at least from what can be gleaned from these tapes) is generally quite solid and energetic. Special thanks to the taper for recording this show, my good friend ledzepfilm for reviewing it of this tape, and to Mysterii for the thumbnail!
