DUNCAN-Margene Pedersen Duncan, beloved mother, wife, grandmother, friend and longtime resident of Glendora passed away on January 12, 2009 at the age of 79. She was born in Logan, UT on December 30, 1929 to Hans Reuben Pedersen and Hazel Partington, both Logan natives. Margene was preceded in death by her brother, Clyde Pedersen, her beloved husband and companion of 50 years, James Owen Duncan on May 27, 2004, and daughter-in-law Holly of Providence during World War II at the age of 19 years. , UT. She is survived by her sons, Craig of Henderson, NV, Clyde of Simi Valley, Stephen of Providence, UT, Scott and daughter-in-law JoAnn of Glendora, and seven grandchildren. Margene loved people, life, having fun and helping others in ways that brought them happiness and comfort. She loved traveling, golfing, bowling, dancing and being with people who shared her passions. She loved her home, improved it and cared for it with great pride. She especially loved her grandchildren. A visitation will be at 9 a.m. Saturday with her funeral service at 10 a.m., both at the LDS Church, 2121 East Route 66, Glendora. Burial will be in Logan City Cemetery, Logan, UT with the assistance of Nelson Funeral Home, Logan, UT.
